If you are the victim of a crime, you should as soon as possible:

  • File a police report
  • Seek medical help if you are injured and make sure the doctor documents your injuries.
  • If your fear that you will be exposed to further crimes, you can also apply for a restraining order and sheltered accommodation.
  • If the crime resulted in you receiving costs, you must also save all receipts.
